Meet Kyle Hart, LMFT.
Therapist. Coach. Second-generation Jamaican. The therapist that goes to therapy.
A hub for healing and striving.
Hey, it's nice to meet you. I'm Kyle Hart — a second-generation Jamaican, born in New York and raised in South Florida. The middle child who's been fascinated by the process of healing and striving ever since middle school.
My journey with wellness was shaped by life-threatening health issues that jolted me into a lifestyle of self-care. I picked up meditation, conscious eating, journaling, yoga, and sleep hygiene — and watched my health issues go dormant. That experience taught me something I now teach my clients: when you change your habits, you change your relationship with life.
I earned my B.S. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology & Human Factors at UCF, then pursued my M.S. in Marriage & Family Therapy at Nova Southeastern — merging everything I'd learned about human systems, research, and lived experience into one practice. I even interned at the Bazelon Mental Health Law firm, working on mental health policy for underserved communities.
I see therapy and wellness like the sun and the moon — two forces, each playing an indispensable role in leading a fulfilling life. That's what Hart to Human is built on.
Life is precious and we're sort of like trees. Each season requires a new version of ourselves — shedding old leaves to make room for more meaningful ones.
I saw the patterns before I had the language.
People always ask what made me want to become a therapist. The honest answer: I grew up in an immigrant family who did their best — but there was often chaos. Between loved ones, facing real-world pressures, dealing with hurt, betrayal, disconnection, and distance. I watched people I love carry so much pain without a roadmap for how to come back to each other.
I was naturally prone to picking up on patterns — the cycles that led to that chaos. I wanted to dedicate a portion of my life to understanding how those patterns could be transformed into closeness, safety, trust, teamwork, forgiveness, and happiness.
So now I'm always enhancing my learning to make sure I'm showing up for you in the best way possible — while being human, inclusive of our imperfections, and still taking accountability for what we do control. I understand how racism, colorism, and systemic pressures shape relationships, and I take the time to learn your culture and your context. If you want a better way of existing with the people you love, I'm here to help you figure out how to create that.

I am the therapist that goes to therapy.
I believe in practicing what I preach. I'm a plant-based foodie, an avid meditator, and someone who genuinely practices a lifestyle of wellness — which looks different for everybody.
I have a deep love for music — Afrobeats, Reggae, Dancehall, Hip-Hop, UK rap, and everything that doesn't fit neatly into a genre. I spend time in nature, I'm always learning something new, and these pieces of my life aren't just hobbies — they deeply influence how I show up as a therapist.
