My responsibility is to help you reclaim your mental, relational, emotional state of being, one that you feel complete with. Most of the people I collaborate with are individuals, couples, families, and members of a group/team. I use evidence based approaches that are most useful to help you achieve a healthier way of living, and that varies from person to person.

While I support and help you explore your patterns and stories, it is still your responsibility to reflect, be honest, make decisions, and follow through on them, in order for you to grow. Society has tricked many of us into this false notion of individuality conditioning us to believe that we are only strong if we overcome challenges alone. 

Sometimes this is portrayed as seamlessly thriving in our careers, relationships, and taking care of ourselves, but it is a lot to manage! I assume that is part of the reason you have come here today. Contrary to what society tells you, I am happy that you made it here. In America and in many western cultures seeking a connection, being vulnerable, and asking for help is seen as a sign of being weak or sick, especially for the men out there. 

In reality humans have always been stronger together, it’s just a matter of connecting with the right people. People you can be vulnerable with and have your best interests at heart. These two mixed with therapeudic expertise can make a big difference in the quality of your life.

● Therapy primarily focuses on improving and addressing issues within the context of relationships and mental health issues.

Ranging from relational trauma, communication patterns, friendship, intimacy. To anxiety, depression, and various emotional or mental concerns. That effect one’s quality of life, relationships, and family dynamics. It aims to enhance the quality of people’s mental wellness, relationships, and resolve conflicts.

● Wellness coaching focuses on holistic well-being, including physical health, emotional wellness, lifestyle choices, and personal development. It aims to enhance overall life satisfaction and happiness.

Coaching does not deal with clinical issues such as depression or high levels of anxiety.

Your active participation and dedication are crucial to your success. After all, we only see each other a few times (frequency depends on the goal). It’s the work you do outside of our sessions that will really help you see your personal growth and development.

Having a way to organize your thoughts and feelings prior to your sessions. Such as journaling, setting time to the side to think, or self voice recording is helpful in allowing you to organize your thoughts and feelings prior to your session.

Our relationships with our friends and family vary from person to person. Sometimes we do not want to “pour” our issues onto the people we love, other times your schedules conflict and it can make to hard to have the time to have deeper conversations. Often times people we care about have a stronger desire to coddle us in a way that can actually prevent us from figuring out what we need/can do to change our situation or break the cycle. Then some of us don’t have anyone that we trust to open up to. These are all valid reasons to collaborate with a professional that you can build a genuine connection and so some life changing work with.

As a Registered Couples and Family Therapists & Wellness Coach I can help you approach your situation in a new way– teach you new skills, gain different perspectives, listen to you without judgment or expectations, and help you listen to your internal compass.

Furthermore, these services are completely confidential. You won’t have to worry about others “knowing your business.”

Lastly, when you evolve there is often a trickle effect that can influence a friend or family member, making the opportunity for you to be a source of light or inspiration for those around you! And the world could use more light.

Everyone’s circumstances are unique to them, and the length of time it takes is strongly influenced by what they are bringing to their sessions.

Somethings that help are honesty, compassion, and truly showing up.

We live in a consumer-driven era, where many people spend money on things that make us feel good yet don’t always increase the quality of our lives. Not to mention, many of these companies do not take our well-being into consideration when selling us experiences.

We must be the ones to question our behaviors and asks ourselves “what’s good for me, my relationship, family, or community?” After all, we are the root of everything that we touch in our life. 

When we change ourselves, our relationships with the things and people around us also change. The impact that effective therapy or coaching can change our mental state, create healthier relationships and more fulfilling lives. I consider this to be a long term investment one that allows us to break unhealthy patterns and design healthier new one’s that we can then share with those close to us.
